Dr Iain Guest graduated from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in Auckland in 2005.
Iain grew up in Wellington and spent many summer holidays on the Kapiti Coast. He attended Karori School and Wellington College where he captained the first XI soccer team and played representative level football across all age groups.
After leaving school he undertook a range of jobs from being an officer in the army to working as a game ranger in South Africa.
He returned to New Zealand in 2000 and enrolled as a student at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. He was actively involved in student councils and represented the student body at chiropractic conferences in New Zealand and Australia.
Iain is passionate about health and human performance and has a particular interest in working with families and athletes to help them to reach their potential.
Iain is married to Kelly; the couple have three children who keep them very busy. He is an ardent soccer fan and loves the outdoors. When he is not at Thrive or with his family he can usually be found coaching kids soccer, mountain biking and occasionally hunting in the New Zealand back country. He has completed the Lake Taupo cycle challenge twice, run the Rotorua marathon and numerous half marathons, competed in the Goat adventure race in 2006, the Kiwi Brevet Mountain Bike Race in 2015, the Moonride 24 hour mountain bike race solo in 2015 (3rd place), the Pioneer mountain bike race in 2016 and has his sights set on many more adventures.

Dr Kelly Guest graduated from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic with academic excellence and clinical awards in 2002. She also holds a First Class Honours degree in Neurophysiology from the University of Auckland (examining the relationship between brain activity and joint movement).
After graduating, Kelly opened a successful boutique practice in a Contours Gym in Auckland. She particularly enjoyed the gym environment and her work with women, pregnancy and children. After four years she set out on a belated OE - travelling with husband Iain through Southern and Eastern Africa.
Kelly is a proud Northlander and spent time growing up in Fiji before her family returned to Whangarei. She was a talented high school hockey player and represented Northland in age group teams.
Outside Chiropractic, Kelly is passionate about her children and family. She coaches a number of school age hockey teams and is a keen sportswoman who enjoys running, mountain biking and team sports. Other passions are: reading, spending time with friends, movies and cooking delicious food using local produce.

Dr Ollie Lee grew up in the northern suburbs of Wellington and graduated from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in Auckland.
Ollie has always been exposed to chiropractic, as his mother started seeing one to help with back pain from carrying him as a baby. She discovered how chiropractic was not only useful for pain, but helped her navigate all aspects of daily living- leading to both of Ollie’s parents having been under regular care his whole life.
Ollie has experienced first-hand how chiropractic can help people get the most out of their life and excel at the things they do and love. He is passionate about human health, performance and the incredible ability of the body to adapt and change so people can reach their goals.
Outside of chiropractic, you can find Ollie lifting weights, running, enjoying some weekend basketball and trying to find the next best thing to eat in town.
He is also keen into music, and is the 3x national New Zealand Beatbox champion.
Ollie is thrilled for the opportunity to be part of the Kapiti community and is dedicated to supporting you in all of your health goals- big or small!

We start by taking the time to understand you.
➡️ Your health history and current concerns
➡️ How your body has been feeling and functioning
➡️ What you’ve tried before
From there, we carry out a series of assessments to get a clear picture of what’s happening.
➡️ Posture and movement assessment
➡️ Spinal and neurological checks
➡️ Additional testing if required
👉 The goal is simple: understand the root cause - not just the symptoms.

Once we’ve gathered the information, we’ll explain everything clearly.
➡️ What we’re seeing
➡️ What may be contributing to your symptoms
➡️ What your options are moving forward
If clinically appropriate, this may include:
➡️ A personalised care plan
➡️ Recommendations based on your goals
👉 No confusing jargon - just clear, honest answers.

If chiropractic care is appropriate for you, we’ll begin care.
➡️ Gentle, specific adjustments (if clinically safe)
➡️ Guidance on how to support your progress
➡️ A clear plan so you know what comes next
👉 The focus is helping your body move and function the way it’s designed to.
